As an art historian with a deep appreciation for Spain's cultural heritage, staying at Rectoral De Castillon for Easter was a delightful immersion into rural Galicia. The former 17th-century rectory, surrounded by 14,000 m^2 of peaceful gardens between the rivers Miño and Sil, provided a charming setting full of history and tranquility. The traditional-style restaurant, serving delicious Galician cuisine, was a highlight, offering a taste of the region's culinary delights. The warm welcome from Rosa and the attentive housekeeping made our stay the best night of our holiday. The hotel's location outside Ferreira de Pantón allowed us to relax within the ancient stone walls of this enchanting building, while still being within easy reach of key attractions like Abadia da Cova and Fervenza de Augacaida. Staying here, surrounded by the beautiful wine-producing countryside of northern Spain, was a truly enriching cultural experience.
